HomeGrid is a subsidiary of Lithion and prides itself onproviding the best energy storage solutions in the industry.SUMMARYThe Sales Director Europe role is responsible for creating an effective sales and business development strategy focused on prospective clients and business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. The successful candidate will work alongside another senior sales professional in Europe.The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.RESPONSIBILITIESResearch and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and new ways of reaching existing markets in EuropeGenerate leads and prospective customers in European markets; develop a channel and contacts to find potential clients in various countriesManage client relationships to expand services to additional European markets and servicesPromote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectivesConduct research to identify new markets and customer needs in various countriesArrange business meetings with prospective clients and travel to customer areas to represent the companyHave a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about themUnderstand the news of customers and be able to represent the company effectively with a plan of how to meet these new opportunitiesDevelop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfactionBuild long-term relationships with new and existing customersWork with the Marketing Department to develop marketing strategies for marketing to European marketsMaintain a professional company image all timesParticipate in trade shows, training or associated product meetings when necessaryMeet financial revenue, bookings and other annual targetsOther duties as required or assignedQUALIFICATIONSThird level qualification in marketing, business administration, communications, engineering or related field is preferredMinimum 3 years business development or sales experienceExperienced in energy storage, lithium batteries or associated industries would be beneficialAbility to find target customers + opportunities and then covert to a successful saleKnowledge of both modular and full custom battery packs is highly desirable.Ability to comprehensively understand current market situations in all markets in Europe to effectively market our servicesResults focused and deadline driven ensuring that tasks are prioritized, diarized, actioned, reviewed and follow-up in a timely mannerExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbal and writtenSelf-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentTarget selection – both opportunity and team revenue focusedProactively seeks areas of improvement, allocates time and resources accordinglyDemonstrated negotiation and influencing skills ethically and with integrityFlexible and adaptable; willing to assist the team with tasks outside normal scope of responsibility with the common goal of revenue growth for maximum benefitAbility to work under pressure and achieve set deadlinesStrong proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM experienceFluency in English, other languages are a plus.Familiarity with industry-specific software and technologyAdaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, technology, tools and workflowApply for this position
