Independently Yours provides a variety of commercial services to independent hotels globally. Services include sales (under the Independently Yours brand), marketing, digital marketing, content creation, revenue management & distribution, PR, pre-opening services and quality assurance training. These bespoke services are designed to be available to SLH member hotels as a provision outside of their standard membership but also to properties not part of the SLH portfolio.The SLH Bespoke Services Team also provide support and advisory to sister brand, Luxury Hotel Partners’s portfolio of properties.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Revenue Director to join our team. The Revenue Director will be responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability across all revenue streams across the client portfolio. This individual will develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimise revenue generation, pricing strategies and yield management, while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional client satisfaction.
Main Duties:
Revenue Planning:
and execute revenue management strategies taking a total revenue management approach to achieve and exceed targets across all revenue streams including rooms, food and beverage, events, spa, and other ancillary services as required by the client.
market trends, competitor pricing, and demand factors to identify revenue opportunities and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
that property commercial teams implement sales and pricing strategies based on sound commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting.
with the management team and ownership, providing consolidated briefings that can be used by the owners on an agreed timeline.
revenue processes and structures, such as meetings, are held at each hotel on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, and cover key metrics (booking pace, performance statistics, competitive positioning and other hotel-specific goals).
Forecasting and Budgeting:
effective revenue forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure accurate revenue projections and resource allocation.
with the hotels to produce an annual budget for each property.
recommendations and advice on reporting tools and business processes to better support sound and informed business decisions.
technology platforms for all hotels, to improve time to market and build market advantage.
expertise in technology and best practice in system use.
Distribution Management:
distribution channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs), direct bookings, and partnerships, to ensure maximum visibility and revenue capture.
and negotiate contracts with third-party distribution partners.
Pricing & Rate Optimisation:
rate strategy across all distribution channels.
and adjust room rates, packages, and promotions to maximize revenue while maintaining competitive positioning.
data analytics and market trends to make informed pricing decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
and provide a suite of reports for hotel management and ownership.
a framework for on-boarding new hotels, using a consistent methodology and KPIs.
General Managers, on property sales teams, front office teams, as well as other key personnel with commercial responsibility at each property are engaged in the revenue management process.
Qualifications & Requirements:
of five years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or related field within the hospitality industry, with at least three years in a leadership role.
and experience within the luxury hospitality environment.
track record of success in developing and implementing revenue management strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and draw actionable insights.
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
in revenue management systems and tools such as RMS, PMS, CRS, and STR analytics.
of multiple revenue management functions such as food & beverage and spa.
to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
to travel as needed.
spoken and written English. Foreign languages are an advantage.
skills in Excel and Powerpoint.
