​The
Director of Partnerships - will be responsible for creating the Partnership
Strategy driving our high growth approach to building new partnerships. You
will directly fuel our growth engine by breaking into new areas and winning
strategic new Partners. Ultimately, you will be responsible for identifying new
ways to promote their products and service offering.To
be successful in this position, you will be a hands-on, strategic doer, who has
a proven commercial ethos and passion towards partnerships. You will apply your
extensive understanding of the payments ecosystem to drive a number of our
client’s solutions into new verticals.​Key AccountabilitiesResponsible for the Implementation of the new business partner sales, relationships, retention strategies and formulate the appropriate tactical and operational plans to achieve the stated goals and targets Lead the end-to-end execution of the
payment partnership strategies, including identifying partners and partnership opportunities, developing strategic relationships in
collaboration with the leadership team, structuring and negotiating on commercial agreements, press releases, program launches, and driving early-stage go-to-market efforts to accelerate growth through partnerships and broader ecosystemFormulate the appropriate tactical and operational plans to achieve the stated goals and targets. Cascade plans with proper resourcing, performance management and
optimization of processes to realize the delivery of strategic goalsLead on the Implementation of the new partner sales, and retention strategiesExplore, scope, and evaluate new partnership opportunities in the payments ecosystem by continuously developing relationships with established players in the industry.Identify incremental opportunities that map directly to each partner’s needs and/or pain points and initiate & drive partnership growth conversations with the clientDevelop and execute customized account strategy, objectives and plans to increase revenue and market
share for select strategic partner accounts.The CandidateExtensive sales experience, preferably in a high-growth, fast-paced payment service providerProven ability executing first of kind partnerships and strategies for multi-sided platforms with an understanding of how to balance incentives.Passionate about partnerships and building positive and effective relationshipsCreative problem solver and innovator – to build new business models and adapt new kinds of partnership structures.Experience leading complex multi-year strategies and execution roadmaps, with proven experience both internally (influencing stakeholders) and externally (negotiating complex deals with partners)Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to stakeholders and to juggle multiple initiatives at onceHigh levels of autonomy and responsibility along with presence and gravitasProven record of implementing strategic initiatives, policies, and operational decisionsStrategic thinking and thought leadershipExceptionally strong communication skills, in both verbal and written form, and ability to influence stakeholders across a wide variety of functionsTeamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills, and ability to lead by influence and example
