The role of Director of Operations is pivotal, working closely with me on both strategic and operational fronts. The individual appointed will forge a strong collaborative bond with the Board of Governors, particularly the Chair of the Finance & Resources Committee. Additionally, alongside the Principal, the incumbent will actively participate in all Executive Team and Senior Leadership Team meetings, as well as certain sub-committees and full board meetings.Ideal candidates will exhibit a proven track record of effective leadership and financial stewardship within diverse organisational settings. They should have a strong grasp of managing personnel and resources, delivering tangible outcomes, strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and fostering inspiration and motivation among peers. The role demands robust hands-on expertise in finance, strategic planning, legal affairs, governance, and risk management.The successful applicant will showcase financial astuteness, strategic acumen, and the capability to oversee and lead the School's support operations, including IT; Human Resources and Estate. While prior experience in the education sector is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
