Job DescriptionThis is an exciting and rare opportunity to join Brett Aggregates at a time of transformation and growth.We are looking for someone to lead the charge in operational excellence, overseeing our production facilities and distribution networks. Reporting directly to the Managing Director you'll drive innovation, optimise resources, and propel company growth.Your role will cover largely the South and South East of England including operations in Ipswich, Kent and Portsmouth.Your Role:Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Oversee day-to-day operations, including production, logistics, supply chain, and quality control.Lead and motivate a team of operational managers and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness through process optimization, resource management, and technology integration.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining high standards of workplace safety and sustainability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and HR, to support customer satisfaction and business growth.Analyse key performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.About you:Proven track record of success in a senior operations management role within the construction materials industry, preferably aggregates.
