Position Overview: The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organizations operations and production in both commercial and industrial settings. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in roofing as well as have a strong understanding of business operations. Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all aspects of operations, production, and commercial and industrial roofingDevelop and implement strategies to improve operations, increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer serviceParticipate in pre-project planning to inspect scope, contract documents, drawings, equipment needed, schedules, and other work instructions to anticipate safety issues and scope.Analyze and assess current processes and develop action plans to improve efficiency and effectivenessLead teams to execute operational projects, monitor progress, and ensure delivery of resultsDevelop and manage budgets and financial plans to ensure resources are allocated effectively and efficientlyDefine KPIs to measure operational performance and establish regular reporting and analysisRecruit, train, develop, and coach operations staff to ensure the effective delivery of servicesMaintain positive relationships with external and internal customers and vendorsManage the development and implementation of new processes and systems to streamline operationsEnforce OSHA and Safety StandardsQualifications:At least 6+ years of experience in operations management in commercial roofingStrong knowledge of production and operations management principlesSkilled in people managementGood negotiation and conflict resolution skillsKnowledge of budgeting and financial management principlesPTOApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
