Director of Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking an Operations Director for our client's manufacturing plant in the South West
To cover all areas of responsibility relating to manufacturing for the site. This person will have full P&L responsibility, managing all relevant departments including; logistics, manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, and planning.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the value stream, in keeping with production schedules, quality standards, profit, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure the maintenance and regular improvement of standardized processes.
Collaborate regularly with various departments to ensure customer expectations are consistently met – liaising directly with customers where necessary.
Maintain regular communication with leadership team – regularly preparing and submitting reports relating to manufacturing activities and operating budgets.
Comply with all relevant regulations.
Ensure a positive and supportive working culture for all relevant employees!
Your Profile
Relevant degree in business, engineering, or an associated field. 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with people management responsibility. Demonstrated experience in cost reduction and process improvement. High-level understanding of manufacturing, from equipment, mechanics and application, and relation to value streams.
