Director of Infrastructure - Insurance
Salary: £150,000 - £160,000
Location: City of London

Overview: Intec Select have partnered with a global leader within the Insurance space to hire a Director of Infrastructure to head up their EMEA region. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will be responsible overseeing the whole IT infrastructure department for the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the departments plans and strategies align with the global business’s executive strategy.
Leading, directing, controlling and managing department to ensure clear understanding of responsibilities and duties.
Overall responsibility of managing and overseeing risk and IT infrastructure inventory.
Responsible for managing all relevant risks - IT Risk, operational and conduct risks.
Ensuring continuous development of market-leading risk management models and monitoring tools.
Aligning department with internal policies and procedures, including regulatory requirements.
Oversee complete infrastructure department (Data Centres, Networks, Connectivity, Comms / Telephony, Virtualization, Operating systems, Cloud, Servers, Desktop, and Storages).
Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience overseeing IT Infrastructure environments leading teams of up to 100 people staff.
Strong background heading up IT infrastructure environments.
Previous experience working within Insurance, Investment Banking, Financial Services (regulated).
Ability to drive team performance, develop talent, and create sustainable success plans.
Solid experience dealing with executive stakeholders and building key relationships.
