I am working with a highly respected organisation who are looking for someone to step into this Director of Homes and Sustainability role. You will lead the Asset Management, New Homes Development and Property Care teams in the delivery of high quality and effective services. You will also oversee property investment decisions, ensure customer service needs are met and assist with making sure the vision and values of the company are adhered to. This organisation have won various awards over the last few years in employee satisfaction and retention, which demonstrates the impressive working environment they have created.
The salary for this role is �82,000.
Responsibilities of the Director of Homes and Sustainability role:
  • Contribute to effective operational management, ensuring we meet regulatory standards and business objectives within the Corporate Plan and Business Plan
  • Work closely with Director of Finance to develop and monitor service budgets, securing efficiencies and value for money
  • Manage an effective risk management framework
  • Ensure effective procurement of partners and contractors in accordance with our procurement and Social Value Strategy
  • Develop, lead and embed change where required across all areas of responsibility
  • Setting smart goals and directing employees to achieve results in line with our mission, vision and values
Skills needed in the Director of Homes and Sustainability role:
  • Experience within Asset Management, Property Investment, New Homes Delivery & Contract Procurement
  • You can demonstrate strategic experience of leading, developing, and inspiring a team
  • Can demonstrate a proven track record of managing resources, budgets and contracts with an ability to identify and eliminate risks in conjunction with our Director of Finance
  • Bring a sound understanding of the Social Housing sector and aligned values
  • You'll have a broad understanding of modern Asset Management strategies
  • May hold a relevant technical qualification such as CIOB, RICS or CIH or be able to demonstrate expertise through experience in a relevant field
