Key Responsibilities
Assisting the growth of the business from current level to next level as envisaged in the five-year financial plan
Building an Engineering Team which has all the skills to enable the growth plans to become a reality, especially in areas where we are not currently operating
Representing at BEAMA meetings
Supporting business development in key growth areas
Promoting synergy of global operations and helping at Group Level to develop new business opportunities using joint capabilities
Willingness to travel 2-3 days a week to visit customers and/or factory
Willingness to travel overseas once every 2-3 months for a week
Key Result Areas
New Engineering Team recruited to manage the Engineering aspects of new projects in growth areas (Design and Build of Large Transmission Projects)
Expansion of Technical Capabilities
New products/services introduced in growth areas leading to an overall business impact in terms of order, sales, and profit
Customer qualification, product approvals for non-core business and new sector/geography for core business
Participating in key conferences, exhibitions to promote at Group Level
Promoting services
Educational Qualifications
BSc in Electronics or Electrical Engineering + Electronics
Experience 15 to 20 years in Electrical and Automation Industry
Experience of 5 years in leading a Team of 10-15 persons
