Director of Ecommerce

Job DescriptionEcommerce Director Do you have experience in driving digital acceleration?Have you worked in high-growth businesses?Do you excel in an entrepreneurial environment?MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading fashion brand, on the search for an Ecommerce Director, based in Manchester. This will be a key role in driving digital sales, customer acquisition, and launching into new territories.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with business objectives.Drive sales and revenue growth through strategic initiatives, optimization of the online shopping experience, and expansion into new markets and channels.Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and increase customer retention, leveraging data-driven insights and customer segmentation techniques.Oversee the management and optimization of the ecommerce website, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience across all devices.Lead the digital marketing team to develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships.Work closely with the merchandising and product teams to optimize product assortment, pricing, and inventory management strategies.Utilize ecommerce analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, analyse trends, and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.What are we looking for?10+ years of experience in ecommerce, (fashion a plus).Experience in a leadership role is required.Proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth through ecommerce channels.Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, technologies, and best practices.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.Creative thinker with a passion for fashion and a customer-centric approach.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with agile and iterative development methodologies is a plus.Competitive salary + benefits.
