Location: ONSITE, London, UK (E14 9FE)
Salary: £50K - £60K (Depending on work experience)
Employment Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven director of business development to increase company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies.

Job responsibilities:
As a Director of Business Development, you'll identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships within the education sector in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. Your strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and ability to build and maintain partnerships will contribute to the expansion and success of our institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to identify new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets. This involves analysing market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify areas for growth.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including educational institutions, students recruiter and other stakeholders. This includes understanding their staffing needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
Business Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the ZSOS services into new areas. This may involve prospecting for new clients, attending industry events, and networking with relevant organisations and clients.
Partnership Development: Collaborate with educational institutions, professional organisations, and other industry partners to develop strategic partnerships and referral networks. This can help generate leads and increase the ZSOS visibility within the market.
Sales and Marketing: Develop sales strategies and marketing campaigns to promote the ZSOS services and attract new clients. This may involve creating promotional materials, attending conferences and trade shows, and leveraging digital marketing channels.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, including setting performance targets, conducting regular performance reviews, and offering training and professional development opportunities.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive threats within the education recruitment industry. Use this information to inform strategic decision-making and refine the ZSOS approach.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring that terms are favourable to the ZSOS while also meeting the needs of the client.
Reporting and Analysis: Track performance, client satisfaction, and other key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts. Prepare regular reports for senior management and provide recommendations for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including those related to recruitment practices, data protection, and employment law.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in business, Marketing, International Relations, Education, or a related field. Minimum of one year of experience in student recruitment and business development in higher education. Strong understanding of the global education market and current trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel internationally.
