Director of Business Development – Corporate Focus

EC M&A is an independent investment banking firm specializing in mergers, acquisitions, company sales, and corporate divestitures in industrial technologies. We provide advisory services to global multinational corporations, prominent mid-sized companies, founder owners, and leading private equity firms on transactions across Europe, North America, and Asia.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for an individual whose primary responsibility will be to cultivate and maintain relationships with Corporate Development and C-Suite executives at leading multi-national corporations. We are looking for the individual to identify opportunities within a select group of Industrial Technology corporates for potential divestiture cultivation and maintain an understanding of priorities for inorganic growth. In conjunction with the broader EC M&A team, the individual will coordinate regular interaction with the agreed corporate coverage group, presenting targeted M&A transaction opportunities. This role will require tracking financial releases of the coverage group, listening to analyst day and financial reporting calls, tracking all relevant corporate news and maintaining up to date information in our CRM.
Qualifications
Self Starter
Minimum of 5 years as an Equity Analyst covering Industrials (buyside/sellside)
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Strong financial statement analysis capabilities
Organized and presentable
