This team focuses on helping Google improve its ability to bring one-face to News Partners, and help the company increase speed, flexibility, and responsiveness to our Partners and to the local News ecosystems around the world. The team leads all partner-facing News efforts and programs across Google and works with product leadership to steer the News product roadmap.Google’s Global Partnerships team powers extraordinary user experiences through partnerships that solve users’ needs, advance our partners’ goals, and further Google’s mission. Our team provides meaningful solutions — from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.ResponsibilitiesReport into the Managing Director of EMEA News Partnerships and represent the market’s News efforts on their leadership team. Represent Google to the News ecosystem in UK and Northern Europe, and develop relationships with News CEOs, and key industry leaders.Bring industry expertise to the partner/customer teams.Lead and develop a high performing team across multiple Google offices in the region. Lead the development of Google’s News industry agenda at a market level, including working with Google’s Country Vice Presidents to develop the engagement plan with the News partner ecosystem.Engage in relevant industry or internal partner events in order to disseminate Google’s News narrative, engage executives on Google’s position, and on reputational topics, enabling a healthy News ecosystem.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
