We are driven by a shared commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the ever-evolving industry landscape.We are seeking an experienced Director to be a part of our Talent team (VIP & Influence) to lead Influencer Marketing activities at Karla Otto London, but who will also work as a part of the global division to align clients with the right talent in a paid capacity - (inclusive of brand ambassadorships, event attendance, social media campaigns, etc.). The ideal candidate will have worked with a cross range of fashion, beauty and lifestyle clients globally, with a deep expertise in Influencer marketing and paid endorsement deals. Experience both in agency and in-house roles is preferable, while it is essential to have an extremely strong personal network in the UK with brands; talents; and agents. They will be tasked with driving and developing this part of the business; ensuring growth as we scale; as well as the development, optimisation and day-to-day management of client work and the supporting team. This is a leadership role that will report into senior management and manages a team that collaborates with many other departments. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded influencer marketer, who is both creative and analytical. They will be in expert in all aspects of Influencer Marketing from contracts to casting to measuring success; have a strong client, agent, and talent network; and a real expertise in current global influencer trends and multi-channel networks. They will also be skilled in translating client needs, creating impressive pitch decks and enjoy packaging and selling in their ideas to senior stakeholders. With the relevant teams, they will also be required to lead the execution of these influencer projects and their deliverables and therefore have extremely strong relationship building and negotiation skills as being organizational, numerical / analytical and with strong attention to detail. Key areas of responsibility will include: Internal Focus Further the development of Influencer Services for Karla Otto, generating top-tier opportunities for clients to engage with brand targets, with a focus on paid engagements Provide support at agency events to the wider teams and attend industry events for the purposes of networking Collaborate with Lefty to integrate and optimise opportunities / success and significantly scale the business Focus on new business acquisition, with a large focus on creating pitch decks, pitching, developing scope of works, budgets etc. Collaborate with different teams across the business to ensure a client-first approach – you will bring teams together to brainstorm / solve problems and ensure strong performance / results for the client Development and day-to-day management of the supporting team Client budget management and internal team efficiency - manage output and team to achieve desired profit margin Stay ahead of emerging trends, content styles, platform advances and constantly challenge thinking / how things are done and share learnings across teams Client Focus Win client trust and build and develop long term relationships Impressively lead pitches, answering client RFP’s and winning new Influencer Marketing business Brilliant articulation of concepts in visual, written and verbal form Lead supporting team to ideate and concept ideas that execute a brand’s vision and will successfully deliver it to their target audiences and growth targets Managing team to identify and screen relevant influencers against brief guidelines and commercial targets Commission and manage fresh and exciting talent to execute branded content and negotiating terms Deliver accurate budgets required for execution of proposed projects and manage expenditure against these accordingly Be able to adapt and drive working processes and workflows depending on the client, to ensure success Demonstrate value of programs and review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results and provide key future learnings to continually optimise CPM, impressions etc. Liaise closely with internal and external teams, proactively managing workflow and resolving issues, reacting to client and consumer feedback etc. Remain ahead of all news / developments in the and Talent and Influencer Marketing space in order to advise clients on new opportunities and emerging strategies, as well as competitors and opportunities relevant to the digital and luxury space Strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency i.e. overseeing administrative tasks, including talent contracts and invoicing, collaborating with the Karla Otto finance team etc. Requirements Fluent in English (other languages an advantage). 7+ years of experience in Talent / Influencer marketing, preferably in an agency and in-house setting. Proven relationships with agents and influencers Keen understanding of brands, competitive positioning, and industry landscape Proven track record of successfully managing influencer campaigns for clients in a variety of industries. Excellent working knowledge of social platforms, predominantly Instagram and TikTok as well as emerging platforms High level execution skills and meticulous attention to detail, both aesthetically and organizationally Strong negotiator Experienced working through complex contracts with legal team to reach a resolution A positive, can-do attitude who can work under pressure and likes to solve problems A creative, innovative thinker with an open attitude and eagerness to learn new things Excellent copywriting, communication and presentation skills A real team player who will excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Ability to juggle multiple projects and work to stringent deadlines Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team Good listening and diplomacy skills Strong knowledge of and experience with Influencer Marketing monitoring / tracking tools Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor and analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to clients and senior management Proficiency in PowerPoint required; proficiency in InDesign and Keynote is an advantage Strong numerical proficiency, including the use of Excel Karla Otto embraces and celebrates diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunity.
