Job Description*** This role requires relocation to Dubai, our client will support with relocation***MCG Talent are currently partnered with one of the worlds largest and well known strategic communications consultancy to source a Director level consultant to be part of their Financial Services team. This person will lead a team and be the key point of contact for the biggest clients in this space. You will oversee strategy and you will play a pivotal role in advising and guiding clients. Reporting to the MD you will lead a team of skilled professionals to deliver strategic counsel, develop compelling messaging, and execute impactful communication initiatives for clients in the finance sector.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert guidance to clients on financial communication strategies, including investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, capital market transactions, crisis management, and regulatory issues.Collaborate with clients to craft clear, consistent, and compelling messages that resonate with key stakeholders, including investors, analysts, media, employees, and regulators.Build and maintain relationships with financial media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and manage reputational risks.Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive investor relations programs, including earnings releases, investor presentations, annual reports, and shareholder communications.Lead crisis communication efforts during financial events, regulatory inquiries, litigation, or other sensitive situations, ensuring timely and transparent communication to protect the client's reputation and interests.Stay abreast of evolving regulations and industry best practices to ensure client communications comply with legal requirements and ethical standards.Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of financial communications professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Cultivate strong, trusted partnerships with clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities to deliver tailored solutions that drive value and results.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise and network to expand our client base and drive revenue growtQualifications:Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial communications, investor relations, corporate finance, or related roles, with a proven track record of success.Deep understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, compelling messages.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with C-suite executives, investors, analysts, and media.Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business results, fostering innovation, and delivering exceptional client service.Existing network of contacts within the financial community is a plus.
