Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Clinical Scientist with experience in dermatology studies to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading and advancing our clinical development programs in various indications. Reporting to the Clinical Development Lead, the Clinical Scientist will leverage their extensive experience to design, execute, and interpret clinical trials, contributing to the development of novel therapeutics for various conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of phase I clinical trials (and later as programs progress) in various indications, with a focus on immunometabolic pathways.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute clinical development plans, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
Provide scientific expertise and guidance on trial design, protocol development, and patient selection criteria.
Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trial data, including safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic endpoints.
Prepare clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Interface with key opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and regulatory authorities to support the successful execution of clinical trials.
Contribute to the development of biomarker strategies and companion diagnostics to support patient stratification and treatment response prediction.
Stay abreast of emerging scientific literature, technological advancements, and competitive landscape in immunometabolism and dermatology.
Qualifications:
Education: PhD or equivalent degree in immunometabolism, immunology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-10 years of industry experience in clinical research, with a strong track record of success in playing a key role in dermatology trials.
Skills: Extensive experience in the design, execution, and interpretation of phase I-III clinical trials, preferably in dermatology or related therapeutic areas. In-depth understanding of immunometabolic pathways and their relevance to dermatologic conditions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and persuasively. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and interpretation. Prior experience in biomarker development and companion diagnostics is highly desirable.
