Director / Associate Director - Commercial Valuation

Woodhouse Property Recruitment is thrilled to be assisting a modern boutique consultancy with national coverage that is searching for an Associate or Director to grow a new base in Birmingham that has an established stream of work.
Our client is a valuation specialist who predominately completes work for secured lending purposes, advising a variety of established clients, including high-street banks, challenger banks, and lenders. There is a growing supply of instructions for capital gains, fund, and merger purposes. They value a range of core commercial asset types with the occasional commercially viable residential asset and development.
In this role, you will report directly to the Managing Director and be given the breathing space to create and establish your team in whatever way you see fit while receiving full support from fellow teams. You will receive a competitive salary plus your option of a company car or car allowance plus a transparent quarterly commission and bonus. Our client is committed to providing a responsible modern approach to working and encourages flexible working.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Red Book valuations for lending institutions.
Undertake advisory instructions where valuation solutions are required, e.g., options analysis.
Managing instruction timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.
Be a trusted expert on the markets.
Develop a pipeline of prospective clients and fee income.
Develop a tangible business development plan for growth.
Attend relevant industry events to broaden own knowledge and expand professional network of contacts.
Prepare professional pitch documents to win new instructions.
To work collaboratively with other offices and attend internal meetings as appropriate.
Identify, manage, and mitigate risk within the business.
Work in partnership with our Strategic Adviser to implement new policies or procedures.
