Exciting Opportunity for an Adults Director in Dorset

Join the dynamic team at Ackerman Pierce! We're currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director for an initial 3-6 month contract in Dorset, with the potential for extension based on performance and internal circumstances.

Corporate Responsibilities:

• Preparing a strategic commissioning plan to deliver corporate and directorate priorities and projects, improving outcomes for people and reducing net costs to the taxpayer.
• Developing and delivering the Directorates Transformation, Investment and Reform programme.
• Maintaining and developing the quality of care for residents across Dorset's rural and diverse communities.
• Designing and delivering the future of integrated commissioning within the ICP arrangements.

Role Accountabilities:

• Acts as a strategic change maker.
• Ensure co-production runs through all directorate developments.
• Work closely with Health Partners to further develop the Integrated Care System and support Place based delivery.
• Take a strategic and operational lead for Adults' quality assurance, providing assurance for the Directorate, Chief Executive and members about the quality of provision for adults in Dorset. Oversee and develop a programme of quality improvement, learning from best practice.

Preferred Experience:

• Post-qualifying experience within a statutory team in the UK Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Experience working at Assistant Director / Director level within a local authority
