The Role The Dining Optimisation Manager will be responsible for managing the venue management brand standards and product setup for P&O cruises dining products for the pre-cruise and onboard guest reservations.Working alongside the Product, guest-experience and Technology teams to determine the best way to set and achieve the business’ roadmap desired and outcomes for dining venue management. This includes the configuration of the system, future enhancements, policies and procedures and ways of working between shoreside teams and the fleet. In addition, the role will also support wider product development and activations within F&B.
Travelling onboard the P&O Cruises fleet, to implement enhancements and conduct training with the crew onboard. Manage the schedule of new and existing dining events within the dining reservation system Manage and optimise dining venue capacities to maximise the availability of bookings lots and volume of guests Undertake Venue Management audits to ensure compliance with product standards Provide regular reporting on venue utilisation and impact of product changes
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full time, 6 months fixed term contract basis until the end of November 2024, with hybrid working in our Southampton office. Please also note that this role is available for an immediate start and will involve regular travel to complete installations and training on board our P&O Cruises ships throughout the project. Knowledge of the business aspects of the food and beverage industry, including pricing strategies, revenue generation, and profitability Be an effective communicator Offer great customer service and take on and use guest feedback Experience with reservation management systems and restaurant management with a focus on turn rateand process optimisation
