The Team
Clyde & Co are investing in a market leading technology to enhance their client and fee earner experience. This is a complex initiative requiring redesign of existing ways of working, implementation to a more cost-effective process and change to our business services and fee earner community.
It has resulted in the creation of the Casualty Innovation & Delivery Team; working alongside IT and a business transformation programme that addresses the way the entire Firm manages its matters and delivers the law.
The Role
The Casualty Delivery & Innovation team is looking to expand their team with a focus on profitability within Casualty.
The successful candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities, to include but not restricted to; leading requirements management across Casualty; driving the documentation of existing operational processes; supporting MMT and automation workstreams to build business cases where additional changes are required; and acting as the key point of contact between the Casualty team and the project workstreams.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent people skills and understand Casualty ways of working and be willing to challenge existing adopted ways of working with a focus on profitability, with a keenness to assume responsibility, work independently and take a proactive and commercial approach.
This role will report directly into the Head of Digital with support from the Innovation and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities Change projects
Work with a variety of stakeholders from across the Casualty team to deliver key business transformation projects. Ability to challenge existing ways of working.
Manage the requirements lifecycle for each project, ensuring an appropriate framework is in place (or working within the existing framework), identifying business contacts required to define, develop and approve requirements.
Act as a bridge between the business and the project/technical teams, representing the needs of each as appropriate.
Develop user stories to brief requirements into technical teams who will create and refine the solutions.
Manage the User Acceptance Testing phase of each project to ensure the developed solutions are thoroughly and robustly tested in relation to the approved set of requirements.
Case management technology implementation Gathering, documenting, and agreeing business requirements to define current ways of working to help develop a future automated approach.
Adapting business requirements into development user stories for developers to deliver with minimal support. Framing, visually depicting "logical" automated solutions that aid developers, in translating business needs into viable technology plans.
Undertake projects within the Matter Management Programme that will implement the Firms case management solution. Take the role of liaison between the implementation team and the practice. This may include facilitating design committees to assist with developing each teams requirements, finalising data sets, mapping of workflows and capturing any future requirements to be delivered outside the project.
Service delivery
Identify opportunities for enhanced service delivery through new ways of working, process efficiency, technology and IT solutions to drive continuous improvement and support business integration and the delivery of new initiatives. Ensure any opportunities identified are captured and follow an appropriate path, either into the project or a future state roadmap.
Provide regular updates and insight to the project managers / Head of Digital relating to developing business needs, opportunities and status requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience Technical Excellence
Knowledge of, experience and interest in managing projects, particularly those involving large scale change to working practices and technical development.
Organised and takes a structured approach to tasks to ensure matters are progressed or escalated. Peopleand Team

Acting as a consultant to technologists who are evaluating changing/replacing business processes with technology.
