Digital Teaching, Learning and Innovation Lead

Castle Education are looking to appoint for a dynamic educational institution as they embark on a transformative journey towards a digitally-driven future. We are seeking a visionary Director of Digital Innovation in Education to lead the charge in driving digital advancements, fostering innovation in teaching, learning, and assessment across their college.
Salary range: �37,721.00- 41,200.00
Key Responsibilities:

• Digital Leadership: Spearhead the integration of digital technologies and innovations into our educational practices, inspiring a high-performance culture that embraces digital excellence.
  
• Championing Digital Principles: Advocate and implement the college's five digital principles, with a focus on advancing our center of excellence in mixed reality, incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the curriculum, promoting a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) culture, ensuring system accessibility, and supporting subject-specific digital equipment such as drones, Internet of Things, and robotics.
  
• Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the Assistant Principal for Quality and Performance, Advanced Teaching and Learning Coaches, and the Head of Quality to continuously enhance the overall quality of education. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Head of IT, Head of MIS, and Legal and Compliance Advisor, to ensure harmonised workflows aligned with digital principles.
  
• Management and Budgetary Responsibility: Oversee a small team, providing leadership and guidance. Manage budgetary responsibilities effectively to support digital initiatives and innovations.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• A strong educational background with relevant qualifications in digital innovation or a related field.
• Proven experience in driving digital transformation in an educational setting.
• Visionary leadership skills with a passion for inspiring innovation and high-performance cultures.
• Familiarity with digital technologies, mixed reality, AI, and other emerging trends in education.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
