At a high end Jewish Social Care charity, they are dedicated to ensuring older and disabled individuals have the opportunity and knowledge to engage with mainstream technology.
The Digital Skills Coordinator will lead the operational coordination and training services from their head office. Job role :
As the Digital Skills Engagement Coordinator you will be running the day to day operational coordination of the Explore Centres and Outreach Centres.
Overseeing, reviewing and delivering the core syllabus and training
Researching innovative tools and assistive technology
Designing and delivering Train-the-train programs
Establishing partnerships with other organisations
Monitoring progress and conducting user research
Reporting against KPIs and contributing to marketing material
What you will need
Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in technology, training or health and social care.
Competent ICT User with experience in commonly used applications
Experience in training or developing activities for older people
Experience in assessing skills and progress
Knowledgeable about assistive technology and its adoption
Understanding of the potential of digital technology for older people
Familiarity with disabilities and technology's supportive role
Ability to develop training resources catering to diverse needs
Strong written English and numeracy skills\
Highly organised
Good attention to detail
Sound judgement and decision making skills
Prioritisation and workload management skills
