Digital Product Manager - IdentityWorking at our iconic office in King’s Cross, London, and virtually via Microsoft TeamsYour new role at NewDayAs part of the fast-growing Platform Product team, you’ll drive and be a shining example of Product excellence within NewDay Technology. Reporting to the Head of Platform Products and supporting the other Platform Product Owners – you’ll craft the future of NewDay’s API platform – building premier Customer management, Identity, (KYC/KYB, SCA, SSO, IAM) & Communication services for internal and external customers.As an identity service, we maake it easy for customers, colleagues, and partners to enjoy seamless and secure access to our digital products and experiences. Through this vision – you’ll give the team the clarity to develop, adapt and innovate at speed – while maintaining our high standard of quality and agile practice. You’ll lead product development processes from ideation through to post-implementation customer feedback, ensuring continuous improvement and addressing customer needs.You will lead and empower the product management team through coaching, mentoring, and resource allocation. Your ability to empower not only yourself, but others around you is critical.You’ll educate, advise and inspire the wider Digital team directly though contributions such as – but not limited to - writing for our Blog, presenting on technical topics and mentorship.The Platform product set for your four teams and lead your product owners in implementing new capabilities, from discovery and the gathering of requirements through to delivery.The vision and strategy for the future of our Customer & Identity journeys, responsible for millions of authentications each week.Innovation with our data scientists to apply machine learning/artificial intelligence for streamlined authentication services whilst reducing fraud. Pushing the boundaries of innovative experiences across our digital worlds.Product roadmaps, communicating progress, risks and issues. Analysing problems and business needs and writing user stories and supporting requirements that meet the teams’ Definition of Ready.Optimally influencing external partners to ensure initiatives in their domains are delivered to high quality, on time and within budgets. Reporting progress and plans to NewDay leadership teams.Content to our Engineering and Product community to foster a culture of learning, growing and innovation.What you’ll bringWe need knowledge, experience + expertise in:• Strong understanding and experience of building B2B and B2C Identity products.• Strong technical skills working predominately with APIs, Cloud Services, Identity frameworks. Experience of Product Ownership/Management in API products.• A challenger’s mindset with the ability to be brave in taking informed risks, influencing new ideas and trialling new methodologies.• The ability to build strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and teams and leverage these relationships to build consensus and deliver value.• Excellent prioritisation and decision-making skills with demonstrable experience of building compelling change arguments, driving consensus, and leading business/backlog priorities in general.• Experience of working with challenging users and stakeholders to elicit product feedback, manage expectations, and drive the value perception of your product while also maintaining a long-term vision and strategy.• Experience in multiple product delivery methodologies and proven experience of applying the ‘best’ methodology based on the challenge/circumstance.• Strong coaching skills and have successfully developed a team of product managers under your leadership.• Product Management Track Record: A strong track record in product management, encompassing product design and technical development, with a history of successfully launching and scaling products.
