About the team
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team on an initial 6-month project. You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and working along-side the Marketing Team and other key stake holders within the central services teams.

Commencing in June, the ideal candidate will be passionate about all things digital and have a strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
What you’ll be doing
As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will take a holistic and strategic approach to improving and optimizing the AC’s digital footprint and online presence, with members and the wider coaching community front-of-mind at all times. You will develop and manage practical and achievable action plans, informed by data analysis, industry trends and the most up-to-date marketing technologies and digital tools.
Activities
Improve and optimize the company's website, including onsite and off-site SEO optimization, content updates, and user experience enhancements.
Develop, improve and manage digital marketing campaigns to increase online visibility across various channels, including but not limited to email and PPC (google & social) and online PR.
Analyze campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies for improved results.
Make recommendations in the adoption of marketing technology and digital tools.
Support the Social Media Co-ordinator and other members of the marketing team where required in creating engaging and compelling strategies for digital platforms to grow the brand's online presence. This may include, but not limited to: website copy, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, CRM and data marketing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and product, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and strategy.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and identify new opportunities for growth.
Skill Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Digital Marketing (preferred but not essential)
Proven experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role or organisation.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing/ CRM, online PR, and content marketing.
Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
An understanding of the coaching landscape/industry desirable (not essential)
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think strategically.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make actionable and pragmatic recommendations.
Experience with marketing automation tools and new marketing technologies is a plus.

Being a key member of the marketing resource, you have excellent organization, prioritization and time-management skills to be able to meet timelines and work with others to make things happen.
You are concerned about quality assurance and maintaining and promoting the highest standards of data quality and digital best practice whilst playing a key role in developing creative and effective digital campaigns.
You are adaptable to new systems and processes. You can jump right into any application and learn your way around.
You are motivated by working within a team where consistent delivery is crucial.
Rate and Hours
We are seeking a self-employed candidate available to work up to 60 hours per month, (ideally delivered daily Monday to Friday) at a rate of £22 per hour for an initial 6-month contract. Following a successful 6-month period and review, the contract could be extended.

We are a virtual team, and you will need to be familiar with communication technologies to facilitate virtual working, for example VoIP (eg Skype, Zoom). You will also need excellent general computer skills with a working knowledge of Office applications, for example Microsoft Excel, Customer Relationships Management (CRM) systems and file management using Cloud services (eg Dropbox).
