Hours: Full Time
Location: Hybrid – Basingstoke
Salary: £45,000-£55,000
Tomato Energy is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead best-in-class, multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, playing a pivotal role in delivering and executing our ambitious plans.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who possesses strong analytical skills and is eager to take on a position that blends strategy with hands-on execution. We're looking for a candidate who is ready to drive innovation in our marketing efforts and contribute significantly to our growth.
Reporting into the Head of Digital Marketing, our Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for:
Paid Digital
Work with the Head of Digital Marketing and other key stakeholders to create and execute a robust paid digital marketing strategy that will contribute significantly to Tomato Energy’s growth and commercial targets.
Set-up, manage and continually optimise campaigns across paid Google, Microsoft, display and social platforms.
Manage budget allocation between digital channels to grow customers while controlling LTV:CAC ratios.
Identify and test new paid channels to meet or exceed established critical metrics.
Work with our content creator / agency to develop paid social creative that captures consumer attention and drives conversion.
Support Head of Digital Marketing in developing and maintaining reports to monitor the effectiveness of paid media efforts (digital and non-digital).
Support our content creator to develop UGC for paid media. Ensuring scripts are in-line with Tomato Energy’s brand values and will drive conversion.
Work with the wider marketing team and external agencies to support and ensure digital presence is aligned with (offline) marketing campaigns (for example, OOH media and event activations)
SEO
Work alongside our SEO agency to craft a robust SEO strategy that aligns with Tomato Energy’s business objectives, ensuring that we rank high on search engines for our targeted keywords.
Identify and establish valuable link-building opportunities and partnerships to boost our domain authority and search engine rankings.
Work with our dev team to enhance our website’s internal linking structure to improve SEO performance and customer navigation.
Lead the charge in producing high quality content for the website.
Growth
Work alongside the Head of Digital marketing and other members of the marketing team on other growth initiatives. This could range from launching an affiliate program, setting up our referral scheme, or suggest website recommendations.
Share insights from your digital activities to the wider marketing team so that can be leveraged to improve our other media activities.
Work closely with the broader Marketing and Digital teams to share funnel conversion improvement ideas and feedback.
We are looking for someone with skills, attitudes, and experience of the following:
An insatiable appetite to deliver growth.
Prior experience in a similar role with a track record of building effective multi-channel marketing strategies, including, PPC, SEO, social media, and other digital channels.
Significant hands-on paid media experience. You’re Fluent in navigating around various digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) and know the optimisation techniques to improve performance.
Previous experience in SEO, affiliate marketing, email marketing is desirable but not essential.
Excellent analytical skills leveraging data, metrics, analytics, and consumer behaviour trends to drive actionable insights & recommendations.
