This evolution has been driven by the ambitions of our members, by leaps in technology, and by changes in society.We envision a world where everyone is inspired, empowered and educated in the art and science of photography.About the Digital Marketing Manager roleWe’re looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Manager to support the growth of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS). Join a passionate team dedicated to raising the profile of the RPS and supporting photographers on their journey. The role would suit someone who is a keen self-starter, able to take ownership and excited by the opportunity to test out new routes to market and new technology. There are a range of products within the RPS for members and non-members, so experience of working across multiple projects or departments would be advantageous. The RPS is going through a digital transformation and looking to grow, this is a great opportunity to be part of that success story.The primary focus of this role will be to bring new members to the RPS and sell more RPS services through email, paid digital and the owned channels available to the RPS. Key responsibilities include:• Ownership of marketing for RPS revenue drivers memberships, workshops and Distinctions• Running paid Digital Marketing Channels• Owning email marketing schedules and ensuring health of data• Budget management for marketing memberships, workshops and distinctions• Planning marketing activity and reporting back on performanceWhat experience you’ll need to applyIn order to be considered for the Digital Marketing Manager vacancy, we are will be looking for you to fulfil the criteria below:• Experience in running paid digital marketing campaigns.• Excellent written English with great attention to detail.• Analytical skills able to evaluate performance and report findings and insights.• Experience in planning campaigns and projects.• Experience of content creation for advertising on and offline, writing copy and developing ideas.• Experience of email marketing for relationship building and conversion• Experience of managing a budget and evaluating performance against the budget• Demonstrable experience of working to acquisition targetsWhat you’ll get in returnA basic salary of £35k + benefits. A hybrid working model where on average 2/3 days per week will be required to work from the office.
