Digital Marketing Executive

Location - Leighton Buzzard

Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm

Salary - �25k - �26k

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join one of our clients based in Leighton Buzzard. You will be joining a small and friendly team, working within a great team culture.

Our client Specializes, in Garden, Groundcare & Agricultural equipment. With the expansion of the business in recent years, the requirement for an excellent eCommerce presence has become less of a desire and more of a necessity.

Duties -

  • Maintain, and update the company's WooCommerce-based website to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Implement strategies provided by the eCommerce manager to improve website functionality, design, navigation, and overall user experience.
  • Monitor and analyse website performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, and sales, to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service and marketing, to ensure a seamless customer journey from product discovery to purchase.
  • Work with eCommerce manager to research market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities for product and service expansion.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to optimise landing pages, promotions, and campaigns for improved conversion rates.
  • Create email marketing campaigns for segmented customers to retain customers and create new customers.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of HTML and CSS coding.

Experience

  • Experience within a digital marketing environment for 1+ years.
  • Knowledge of using WooCommerce and other eCommerce platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Basic understanding of PPC principles and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Email Marketing and customer segmentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, plan, and prioritise workload based on business needs.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, growing start-up environment.
  • Analytical skills using systems such as google analytics, WooCommerce analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of the gardening or horticultural industry is a plus but not essential.
