Main Function of Role:
To add support and value to marketing across various digital touchpoints including emails, websites, marketing automation and data analysis.
What are the tasks and responsibilities of the role?
Key deliverables include, but are not limited to:
· Plan and develop comprehensive and integrated email campaigns
· Build email campaign canvas workflows in marketing automation tool and all associated campaign asset including, but not limited to, segments, emails, landing pages, forms and third-party integrations
· Act as primary marketing automation tool administrator and maintain data quality in marketing database, and support alignment with CRM system (SalesForce)
· Segment and leverage the marketing database for efficient and effective campaign targeting
· Generate and analyse email campaign performance reports; assess campaign performance; and make recommendations for campaign performance improvement and optimisation
· Execute email A/B tests for a test and learn approach
· Maintain email templates, ensuring best practice is maintained
· Work with marketing teams to create and execute email campaigns that support their objectives
· Make recommendations for email campaign automation and best practices
· Develop and manage various reports
· Liaise with other team members and internal/ external stakeholders in the delivery of digital activities
· Understand and ensure global compliance and opt-in policies are adhered to throughout all email campaigns
· Create and manage website content Understand and ensure Corporate brand and compliance standards are met
· Stay abreast of new trends, emerging technologies, regulatory and legal requirements
· Analysis of the effectiveness of campaigns and technology used in delivery
· Create and manage Salesforce marketing material records that serve as subscriptions
· Support marketing teams in generating invitation lists within Salesforce
· Monitor inbound communications from contacts responding to email marketing, and either reply or forward to appropriate contact owners
· Design/amend imagery to be fit for email and website purposes using approved editing software
· Other digital marketing tasks as assigned
Regulatory Responsibilities:
· Adhere to the FCA’s Conduct Rules, understanding that they set basic standards of good personal conduct.
Do you have the following experience?
Experience of using Oracle Eloqua, Marketo or similar marketing automation tool at a system administrator level including data management is essential
Demonstrable experience gained over 2-3- years of developing multiple email campaigns from design to execution to deliver business objectives is essential
Knowledge and implementation of data privacy regulation such as GDPR within and email marketing context is essential
Experience of working with CMS (such as WordPress) and CRM systems (eg. SalesForce) is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects is preferred
Prior knowledge and experience within digital marketing preferably within a business-to-business environment is preferred
Candidate Profile:
Proficient knowledge of contemporary digital marketing best practices
Advanced Excel skills
To be comfortable with numbers and interested in turning data into actionable insights
High attention to detail, organisation skills, and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
Able to work autonomously and at pace
Comfortable managing several different process/systems concurrently
Professional demeanour, strong communication and influencing skills, and ability to establish collaborative working relationships with remote internal and external stakeholders from across Business development and the wider business
Strong project management skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
Demonstration of technical understanding and the ability to effectively communicate technical ideas/proposals/challenges/questions to internal team members and stakeholders
Positive, enthusiastic outlook with an ability to work at pace with accuracy
Outstanding planning, organisational and evaluation skills with excellent attention to detail
Responsive and resilient team player
A passion about all things digital and interested in new technologies
Able to project a positive image of the marketing team and display resilience, tenacity and high degree of professionalism
Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages a great plus
