We design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable battery solutions for multiple applications to match our customers’ requirements.DIGITAL MANUFACTURING ENGINEERJob PurposeAn exciting new opportunity has become available for a Digital Manufacturing Engineer to join the manufacturing function within Agratas. You will be on the forefront of designing, creating and implementing a brand-new manufacturing digital architecture (IT / OT) within an emerging new industry. This role will require you to work in a cross functional environment, building key relationships internally, to understand core requirements for manufacturing from a wide range of functions, and externally with vendors, then to communicate these requirements and develop solutions against complex problem statements.Key Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to identify key requirements of core manufacturing systems (IT / OT)Shape and drive a Digital System infrastructure to ensure a connected factory.Research and identify class leading / emerging technologies within the digital manufacturing space.Liaising with internal IT teams and external software integrators / providers to convey core system requirements from a Manufacturing function.Creating key documentation, standards and protocols for OT systems.Creating and running end-to-end user acceptance test activities.Assisting with the creation and development of early process design simulations leading into the creation of a fully functioning live digital twin. Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering / IT.Core understanding of digital manufacturing engineering.Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders.Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual willing to learn and challenge the norm.Awareness and understanding in some or all of the following systems - MES / MOM, IIoT, PLM, CMMSAwareness and understanding in some or all of the following OT infrastructure - PLC, SCADA/DCS, OT Networks, Automation EquipmentAt Agratas we strongly believe that people are at their best when they feel supported and happy in their workplace.
