Digital HACCP Lead

dnata Catering and Retail is in search of an individual to support and lead the global implementation of digital Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) processes throughout our operations. This role focuses on transitioning from traditional paper-based processes to digital solution, ensuring the accurate capture of all necessary data, end to end traceability, reporting and data analytics and supporting global teams to go through the change management process.
What’s the purpose of this role?
The primary objective is to manage the change from manual to digital processes and ensure successful adoption of the digital solution and processes across our businesses, from the Proof of Concept (POC) phase to the global roll out.
Guaranteeing compliance with food safety standards, particularly emphasising the utilisation of digital technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in HACCP and Halal requirements management.
Due to the nature of this role it is currently being offered as a 12 to 24 month fixed term contract.

Collaborate with IT department to align implementation strategies and leverage digital solutions effectively.

What you’ll be doing:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the digital solution & processes
Form part of the project team, as digital HACCP SME, to lead the implementation of digital HACCP solution, providing ongoing support throughout the process, from POC to the full global roll out
Contribute to the development of global roll out plans, support development of country rolls out plans & country project structure
Defining, owning and managing the change management plan & change story
Change Management; managing the change into the business and system adoption
Documenting Digital HACCP Process & SOPs
Contribute to the preparation of training material and support the adoption of a train the trainer approach
Support Digital HACCP country project leads throughout the implementation, track progress, identify risks and develop corrective actions. Conduct assessment of the digital HACCP system to ensure compliance with the current food safety standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ensure new business requirements are given back to development teams, tested and signed off before releasing to the business
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented systems, making recommendations for adjustments and enhancements.
Provide input to the BI team on how future data dashboards will look like.

What you'll have:
Bachelor's degree in Food Safety or a related discipline
5+ years of comprehensive experience in food safety management, particularly in HACCP and Halal practices
Business Change Management to support the organisation to go through change, as well as coaching skills to show the new way
Project management experience
Excellent organisational skills, including multitasking and prioritisation
Attention to detail and the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and problem solve issues
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with powerful ability to persuade and influence people at all levels.
Experience working with diverse teams or stakeholders in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment
Results-driven mindset with a focus on operational excellence
Self-motivated with a strong team-playing mentality
Ability and capability to travel frequently and adapt to a nomadic lifestyle, moving from one location to another on a regular basis.
Desirable:
Experience or background in airline catering industry
Previous involvement in digital transformation projects within the food safety or related fields
Additional certifications or training related to food safety management or HACCP
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in food safety, particularly in the aviation or catering sectors
