Be part of an exciting, vibrant and friendly team of successful digital experts.The UX / UI Designer is responsible for taking a client brief, and in collaboration with SEO experts, organising an effective site map, creating wireframes that are all about the best UX, and then applying your creative designer wand to make it look amazing! Working with our talented developers (or maybe you have some dev experience yourself!) you will turn your designs into reality, solving our client’s needs whilst adhering to accessibility, eco and best practice principles.The role includes, but is not limited to:Liaising with clients, project managers and SEO specialists to determine the scope of a project and understand the goal of the websiteCreating page mock-ups in XD or FigmaPresenting design concepts to the project manager, agency director and clientsCollaborate with web developers to create website outcomes that prioritise user experience within timeframes and budgetsProduce design assets for use in social media and marketing channelsTake feedback from clients or managers and implement it according to the briefSkills & KnowledgeExcellent awareness of UI/UX principlesUnderstanding the ‘Why’ – importance of following the brief and understanding of the audience and goalsProven understanding of graphic design fundamentalsDemonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launchStrong command of colour theory, image composition, and typographyAbility to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formatsAdvanced knowledge of Adobe SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and proofing of workDelivering through a team approachIndividual responsibilityFlexible approachClient-focussed solutionsCreative approach to problem-solvingSharing of best practices & peer mentoringStructured delivery of work through excellent organisation and planning skillsClear & effective communicationAbility to present in a professional and engaging mannerRelevant degree (digital/marketing/design) or proven experience and web portfolio.Wider graphic design knowledge and trainingFull-time position 40 hours per week with paid 30 min lunch break includedEstimated £23,000 to £28,000 – Salary depends on experience and the value you can bring to SolveTip: Stand out with an elevator pitch video.
