Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join one of the top medical device companies in the world? Our client is committed to advancing technology and improving patient outcomes worldwide. They are currently expanding their dynamic team and are seeking a talented Electromechanical Specialist to join them in their Leeds office. If you have a passion for cutting-edge technology, robotics, and electromechanical engineering, this role should make you excited!

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop simulation models for complex electromechanical devices, including robotics and control systems
- Perform simulations to predict device performance using multi-domain simulation approaches
- Analyze system dynamics, stability, reliability, and design robustness
- Identify potential design problems and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with teams and testing associates to research, design, execute, validate, and report on computational modeling and physical/functional testing studies

Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or similar field
- Strong analytical skills in engineering, statistics, structural dynamics, and vibration
- Experience with electromechanical devices and a robust understanding of robotics and control systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python
- Familiarity with simulation software, preferably ANSYS
- Knowledge of industry standards and certifications relevant to robotics and control systems
