Job Title: Digital Electronics Design EngineerRead on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.Location: Broad Oak – Portsmouth, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please chat with your recruiter about the options for this particular roleSalary: Up to £65,500 dependant on skills and experienceWhat you’ll be doing:Detailed digital electronic circuit design including component selection, evaluation, simulation, schematic capture, and liaising with PCB design teamsVHDL design, code, simulation, test, and integration and embedded IPDesign verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test techniques, including support to EMC test houses and customer installationsGenerate design documentation and technical reportsInterfacing with related disciplinesAssist the development of higher-level system designs and development of technical requirement specificationsSupport system integration activitiesYour skills and experiences:To be successful you will ideally have educational background in Electronic Engineering or strongly related subject, and have experience in one or more of the following areas:Generating component level digital electronic designs for introduction into volume productionDevelopment of FPGA/CPLD designsDigital design including processor interfacing, memory devices, PLD interfacing, UARTs, SPI, I2C, Ethernet etcADC/DAC devices and techniquesDesign proving, integration, and defect resolutionGathering of evidence to support acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safetyBenefits:You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. As Digital Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for our digital designs.
