Company DescriptionJob DescriptionWe're now looking to recruit a Business Analyst to join our D2C Product Team and drive innovative product development for the AJ Bell website and apps. Working in this team the Digital Business Analyst will support and champion the product vision, strategy and roadmap ensuring it aligns with the company vision, strategy, and business goals - working with the AJ Bell product development team and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of continuous improvements, new products & functionality.What does the job involve?The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:Support the Product Development team in translating business requirements and defining the product requirements for each change projectWrite detailed product specifications and user stories for the web and app development teamsWork with the technical teams to agree designs for new product enhancements, gathering feedback from the relevant business teams where appropriateProvide support to the mobile app and web development teams through testing and accepting development items in Jira and answering queriesInvestigate and respond to product queries raised by customers and business teams, creating bug fixes for the relevant development teams where appropriateEnsure product changes are compliant and that there has been input from the Compliance and Technical teamsLiaise with Marketing colleagues where appropriatePerform other tasks as agreed with the Product Development Manager or Senior Product Development Manager.Competence, Knowledge and Skills:Educated to degree level or equivalent.Knowledge of the FCA regulatory frameworkAdvanced competencies in business analysisCompetent and experienced in utilising different approaches and techniques to deliver change within different methodologies including agileExcellent written EnglishProblem solvingAble to organise multiple tasks and prioritiesTeam playerAttention to detailAbility to work on own initiativeCreative and can think outside the boxConfident communicatorNumerate with good analytical skillsMS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAbout us:AJ Bell is one of the fastest-growing investment platform businesses in the UK offering an award-winning range of solutions that caters for everyone, from professional financial advisers, to DIY investors with little to no experience.
