Location: Chester, England (hybrid working model)Reports To: Client Services DirectorSummaryReckless is looking for an experienced, commercially driven and strategy focused Digital Account Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional digital strategies for a diverse client portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in fostering strong client relationships, overseeing the delivery of digital marketing campaigns and development projects focused on commercial growth, and guiding the professional growth of your team.ResponsibilitiesAs the Account Director, you will be the day-to-day conduit between the client and the agency, reporting into the Client Services Director and Managing Director. Your responsibilities will be spread across top level strategic and commercial knowledge and senior-level client relationship management. Through understanding your client’s objectives and their wider business goals, you will be able to focus on their commercial growth, strategic direction of each account and building long lasting relationships with your clients.Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain outstanding relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their strategic goals are met.Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that encompass web development, SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media, and other relevant digital channels.Team Management: Mentor, coach, and inspire the team of account and project managers, setting clear goals, fostering collaboration, and overseeing professional development alongside the Client Services Director.Project Oversight: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and surpass client expectations. Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation and management strategies.Campaign Analysis and Optimization: Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and provide actionable insights to continuously improve results and deliver outstanding ROI for clients.New Business Development: Contribute to new business pitches with both a commercial and creative mind-set. As well as identifying potential growth opportunities within existing client relationships.A Voice in the Industry: Become a ‘voice’ in the sector through your own thought leadership, digital knowledge and work to position Reckless as leading digital agency.QualificationsRequired:A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, in an agency environment, with a demonstrated track record of success in client management and digital strategy.Proven experience in managing a team.Experience working on both digital marketing and web development projects, showcasing a strong understanding of the integration between these areas.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Experience with project management tools (Monday, Jira, Trello, etc.).Passion for emerging digital marketing trends and technologies.Experience working with both B2B and B2C clients.So, Who Are Reckless?We say what we’ll do and do what we say.
