Summary
Our team is looking for a hungry and experienced Digital Account Director to join us in our London office to lead an exciting new relationship with a global client. In this role, you will provide strategic and executional leadership across all brand performance efforts, with a focus on operational excellence.
The successful Digital Account Director must have a proven track record of performance marketing at fast-growing e-commerce companies, have done the same for digital services or led an account at an agency working on performance marketing & large-scale digital campaigns.
Our London office is the hub servicing European markets for Expedia Group, and works in close collaboration with our Los Angeles hub, and clients and agency partners around the globe. This role presents the unique opportunity of working alongside the best talent within the entire Omnicom network.
The Digital Account Director will be reporting into the Global Account Director and will work closely with the Project Management team. They will be responsible for driving the future vision, planning, and overseeing execution of all projects. In this role, you will serve as key leader to extending integrated campaigns in the performance space, as well as creating standalone performance campaigns.
This being a new client relationship, the Digital Account Director will be key in establishing systematic ways of working, driving operational efficiencies across the board, and helping us bring a new and unique agency-client relationship model to life.
The day-to-day responsibilities include putting together project proposals, briefing creative and content curation teams (for example, Business Affairs, the Photo team, and so on); driving communications across teams; aligning with creative development and production schedules, presentations, and approval processes; and troubleshooting to create a smooth workflow for the cross-functional teams involved.

The Work
Plan, build and execute stand-alone performance campaigns across social and digital platforms in partnership with our internal and external creative resources, as well as the media partners.
Act as a key interface for the rest of the organisation to activate campaign extensions in the performance marketing space.
Lead strategically, but also ensure that the on-going work is executed with perfection.
Help define the measurement and optimisation frameworks for campaigns while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests.
Partner with the production, creative, media and technical teams to improve campaign performance and user experience.
Explore new ad platforms, placements, and ad features and experiences.
Be a leader for the team and set the example in strategic thought inside the agency but also in the industry.
Enthusiastically build rapport, credibility, and influence, and we get results throughout the organisation at all levels and across departments in a highly complex client organisation.
Demonstrate creativity in problem solving, dynamic and unconventional thinking, and quick adaptation to new challenges.
Oversee performance projects to ensure flawless development and execution.

Experience in efficiently scaling channels over time.
Experience in successfully managing cross-channel marketing programs on a global-scale and familiarity with DCO / DSP / DMP technologies.
Strong data-driven analytical thinking and creative problem-solving, balancing working in a creatively driven organisation with an analytical and focussed approach to marketing.
Proven experience working on global brands, preferably at a creatively driven ad agency or in-house marketing communications department.
You can deliver goals in your area of expertise, and you are able to prioritise efforts based on business need.
You are inquisitive and team oriented, with the ability and vision to define the day-to-day aspects of your primary role while keeping focus on its larger goals.
You are a problem solver, someone who is not afraid to ask questions and hold clients accountable, and can connect the dots quickly.
You keep integration and collaboration top of mind, making sure all parties are informed on either side.
Resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results oriented with high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to contribute in a team environment.
