Your role as a member of the DevOps team will be to help us standardise, maintain and evolve the DevOps and infrastructure offering that we make available to our customers.Your typical day might include:Communicate technical issues and decisions to colleagues and clientsEnsuring documentation exists for all important infrastructure and DevOps systems on a projectStaying abreast of the latest goings on in the Linux, security and DevOps fieldsCreating and maintaining documentation that contributes to our ISO certificationsIn-future, potentially participate in on-call rotationProactive maintenance across systemsHandle escalated issues that require sysadmin or DevOps skillsEstimate methodically and accurately based on iterative learningDebug issues to help establish root causesBuilding out and managing infrastructureEnsuring smooth project launches and releasesImplementing DevOps technologies and processes eg.
