DevOps Engineer

Job DescriptionDevOps Engineer – London. Miller Maxwell has partnered working a global investment banking organisation and a leading provider of electronic trading services providing solutions to businesses on a global basis. They seek to hire a DevOps Engineer to work as part of an innovation team delivering real-time data and pricing data in a real-time live environment so expanding their ability to automate processes is imperative and the DevOps Engineer will be a key to this expansion.The DevOps Engineer will:Manage deployment of automation solutionsWrite, implement and support automation scriptsWork directly with heads of departments to strategise the delivery of solutionsLiaise with development and infrastructure teams to implement automation strategyMaintenance of Setup and support cloud-based test server environmentMonitor system health – use sophisticated techniques to resolve errors and outagesDevOps Engineer will need to have:At least 2 years of commercial DevOps – Automation experienceChef – Puppet experienceProficient in Windows and some Linux experienceKubernetes CI/CD pipeline experienceAnsible, GIT, Jenkins experienceScripting experience – Preferably PowerShell but others would be consideredExperience working within a real-time live production environmentAzure - experience beneficialThe DevOps Engineer will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly experienced, new and expanding team where the adoption of new/innovative technology is growing day-on-day and the DevOps Engineer will be able to introduce, research and contribute to this already exciting technology stack.
