Training budget, 28 Holiday days, Flexible workingCompany:Ada is collaborating with an early-stage Start-up that uses tech to understand both individual and population healthcare. The start-up has created a Data Analytics platform that integrates real-world health and genomic data, allowing for progression in drug development, clinical trials, and healthcare. There are currently five in the tech team and you’d report to the Head of Technology. After securing contracts in the UK and US Healthcare space, they’re scaling their tech team extensively.YOU:An ideal candidate will have strong experience in DevSecOps, Terraform Cloud, Kubernetes, and Gitlab. You’ll need demonstrable experience as a DevOps Engineer working in smaller teams, and be happy to lead from the front in terms of implementing new processes. Ideally, you’ll come from an Infrastructure background (but if you’ve moved from Software to Infra – even better)One other thing - you’ll need to be resourceful. If you don’t know a problem, we’d expect you to be the first to say ‘I’ve got this’ and then proceed to research it. This is a good opportunity to work on a platform that will improve how healthcare operates across the globe. What we need from you (essential)• Demonstrable experience as a DevOps Engineer/DevSecOps• Demonstrable experience with the AWS Suite• Terraform, Terraform Cloud• Docker and Kubernetes • GitLabResponsibilities• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness• Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand infrastructure needs and provide IaC solutions• Implement security best practices in code, infrastructure, and deployment processes.• Lead on security assessments and audits.• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate the build, test, and deployment processes• Monitor and optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance and reliabilityFor your expertise, you can expect hybrid remote working, £90,000 DOE, flexible working hours, 27 days of holiday, and more.
