We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team to play a crucial role in optimising their development and operations processes.Who are we?What we do is simple and unique: by utilising our expertise in technology, we improve people’s lives and experiences by producing cutting-edge digital services specific to user needs.Whether it’s public or private sector engagement, we make services accessible to everyone.Our culture is quality first and foremost.We offer agile working, competitive remuneration and benefits, a collaborative group of colleagues to work with and a defined career pathway underpinned by excellent development opportunities.The JobAs the DevOps Engineer, the responsibilities include (and not limited to):Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines.Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.Automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, infrastructure, and system performance.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our DevOps processes.About YouProven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ruby) for automation tasks.Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Understanding of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.Flexible working arrangements.Opportunities for growth.Shiny Laptop, Screen and Accessories.Pension, Perks and Discounts.Friendly humans and a very supportive environment.Location: Ebbsfleet, Kent, United KingdomJob Type: Hybrid – must be able to commute multiple times a week to the Ebbsfleet office.UK Applicants may only apply.Apply for this job
