New Vacancy - Development Underwriter (x4)Remote WorkingLloyd's MGAHFG are currently recruiting for a Lloyd's MGA who are seeking 4 Development Underwriters in the commercial combined space across different locations in the South West region including:➔ Chelmsford/Ipswich/Norwich➔ Exeter/Bristol➔ South Wales/Shropshire➔ Gloucester/WiltshireThese roles will be solely new business focused and the successful candidate should have experience in the SME - Mid Market Property and Casualty space.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop a book of new business and broker relationships, focusing on opportunities and trading.Onsite Broker Visits and Underwriting Surgeries.Escalation point for Key Broker Partners.Reviewing and underwriting of new business quotations across all products within our underwriting appetite including any queries within the SLA's of the business.Regular communication with the Business Development Managers to develop and maintain broker relationships.Act as a referral point for underwriters within the Team.Work closely and effectively with the underwriting team to ensure that all work is completed within SLA's and to maintain broker relationships by offering a high level of customer service.Operate in accordance within the Underwriting License given and use the Underwriting Guide and collaborative with senior colleagues.Take initiative, within the context of the role, to improve work processes and promote overall corporate goals.Home Based with occasional visits to London Office when necessary.
