Development Team Leader

You will join a well-established Global IT company, get involved with multiple exciting projects, and be part of a pioneering working environment as they expand their capabilities to meet client demand Due to the secure nature of the work across the intelligence sector, you must already hold full UK SC Clearance status. As Development Leader you will work on a critical Application Migration development programme, whilst working with high profile clients in exciting sectors. Occasional travel to Bristol. Development Team Leader Job role:
As Technical Development Team Leader you will be able to take on the Scrum Master role required for an Application Migration development project with a key public sector client. As Team Leader you’ll be required to manage a team of developers and liaise with individuals from the UX, UI, DevOps and test teams. Job pre-requisites: As Development Leader on this central government programme you must offer core expertise in successfully delivering agile-based delivery projects, with a broad set of technologies but most particularly Java 7 (this is the language the current application is written in), Struts, JBoss, Tomcat, Oracle9i. Tools of interest include Azure, Jira, Web front-end, general experience modernising legacy projects, best practice development (Waterfall, Agile, build, design, test, end-to-end) Good client-facing and communication skills. Previous experience gained in a Scrum Master role, REST APIs/integration, code versioning tools (Git/SVN) would be advantageous.
