Due to funding, and wanting to bring their development team in house, they are looking for a dev ops engineer in the Glasgow region with expertise in Symphony.
They offer a great working environment that can offer progression and career development.Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Symphony DevOps Engineer.
As a Symphony DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
You'll work closely with our development, operations, and QA teams to streamline processes, automate tasks, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems.Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for scalability and performance.Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools and technologies and evaluate their potential for adoption.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Symphony framework.Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
