Detail Designers
I'm partnering with BAE Systems to recruit for Detail Designers in Scotstoun on a 12-month contract basis to work for a Defence client.
Hourly rate:
£29.19 to £32.31 Umbrella
Applications will be considered for all Sub-disciplines:- Structures, Electrical & Cable Management, Mechanical (HVAC & Piping Design), Parts Management and Layouts/Outfit.
Skills
Experience in engineering or a defence or related industry (Ideally Shipbuilding, O&G or Defence background)
Proficiency in using design software and 3D modelling tools
Designer/draughting experience along with a HNC/HND qualification in a relevant field
Experience with Foran software or other 3D modelling tools for shipbuilding
Strong understanding of the design lifecycle and the value stream within the discipline
