Destination Director

I am supporting an exciting opportunity for a Estates Director to lead a successful mixed use Estate in Birmingham. This fantastic role will spearhead the Strategic & Operational direction for the scheme. Key areas of responsibility include: -

• To Lead, support, develop and inspire the Estates Management team


• To continue to drive a positive culture & to grow / develop the team


• Create an ambassadorial role in local industry business groups, Local Authority and community/civic stakeholder meetings including representing the scheme at local BIDs & any other association meetings


• Working closely with the marketing team to optimise and ensure delivery of the marketing strategy


• Budget / Financial Management including Service Charge Projects / CAPEX


• To drive opportunities through services, brands & commercial opportunity


• Manage stakeholder engagement, communication & relationships


• To build and maintain effective relationships with all Occupiers in the scheme.


• Work with the on site Team to gain occupier performance data to report & benchmark


• Working closely with the client to continually refine business plans to drive results


• Review cost controls & efficiencies


• Annual Business Planning and monthly reporting on performance


• Management of contractor/supplier relationships and key staff


• Overall responsibility for Health & Safety and Environmental Management

Candidates will hold proven Management experience within high profile delivery, strong customer facing/operational experience & understand the challenges facing commercial, retail & leisure delivery. You will be able to engage at all levels of the business & be a positive "team" focused leader.
