Desktop Deployment Engineer - Hybrid - Outside IR35

Our client, a leading Insurance firm, are currently looking to hire a Desktop Deployment Engineer to join the team on an Outside IR35 contract basis.This role would be hybrid working with the client site based in London, and will also require international travel.As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have experience of large desktop rollout projects and Microsoft Autopilot.Technical Skills:Previous experience in large laptop / IT deployment projects, preferably as part of M&A activityExcellent working experience of Microsoft Autopilot / Microsoft Intune for building, configuring, and troubleshooting deviceExcellent knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11 operating SystemsExcellent Office 0365, Office 2016 experience, particularly Outlook configuration and troubleshootingGood working knowledge of Microsoft TeamsGood working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM application deployment, Software CentreGood working knowledge of On-Prem AD and Azure AD for user, group, OU, and device administrationGood understanding of Global Protect VPN, Citrix Desktop, RDPExperience of other standard applications One Drive, Adobe Editor & Reader, Foxit Editor & Reader, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, ZoomExperience of business applications such as Global XB, Sector, Framestory, Acturis, Salesforce (Beneficial)Role Requirements:Demonstrate examples of similar successful positions in the pastExcellent customer facing skills, both verbal and written instructionAble to work as part of a team or from own initiativeAble to communicate at all levelsWorked in the insurance or financial services sector previouslyFlexibility to travel to sites both in UK and Europe when required, including staying away from home for periods up to approx 5 daysIf this role would be a good fit for your skills and experience, please apply!Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.Create a job alert and receive personalised job recommendations straight to your inbox.
