Desk Bound Estimator

SC1 Recruitment are delighted to support our key national client, in their search for a Desk Bound Estimator to join their Exeter branch.

The role would suit a strong Administrator with experience in estimating or producing sales quotes.

The Desk Bound Estimator will be a key role within the business, responsible for taking sales enquiries/opportunities as they arise and progress them through to a quotation to be submitted to customers within the agreed timescales and framework.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Capturing & recording engineer commissions

Leading in quotes & orders fast turnarounds

Following up quotes & orders

Maximising sales opportunities

Obtaining materials / goods / equipment quotes

Support marketing campaigns & digital media

Support with Regional Admin (when required)

Managing customer relations

Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Ordering Goods / Equipment / Materials

Key Attributes:

Computer Literate

Well organised with high attention to detail

Able to plan and prioritise tasks

Good & clear communicator

Team player

Work on own initiative

Good people skills
