What You'll be Doing
Designer
Brand and Client Marketing
Purpose
Reporting to the Creative Director as part of the Marketing (Brand and Client) team, you will be required to work on projects from initial concept to completion.
As part of the team, your role is to support the Marketing team with design collateral aligned to the Marketing plan as well as provide dedicated support across the department with the Brand Manager, Client Marketing, and Communications team.
As a creative Designer, you will have broad experience and responsibilities in the company to create impactful designs, taking direction from the Senior Designers as well as working with the Junior Designers to improve their knowledge and skills.
Impact
Creating impactful InDesign documents and brochures.
Use illustration skills to bring projects to life.
Work on branding and merchandising initiatives.
Working to established brand aesthetic and guidelines to create dynamic PowerPoint presentations for meetings and events.
Creating posters and design assets for marketing communications.
Complex photography retouching.
Contribute to brainstorming meetings.
Video editing projects.
Create engaging infographics and one-pagers for Marketing initiatives.
Using motion graphics software on short form animation projects.
Able to make complex amends and alterations to InDesign documents.
Supporting the wider team on conference events, webinars and launches by creating signage, invitations, and branding.
Capabilities
Advanced design skills in both print and motion design.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and can present ideas confidently to groups.
Able to represent the design department in meetings.
Can work confidently with senior managers and directors in the business.
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Taking feedback from peers and interpret it constructively.
The ability to follow a design brief with a low level of guidance from a senior design colleague or member of staff.
Ability to implement brand guidelines as well as create new design assets in the style guide.
Direct liaising with external clients and stakeholders.
Ability to manage your own projects and meeting requirements, ensuring working is completed within agreed time frames.
Learning how to use Gantt charts and project management tools, you will be able to create your own production schedule for Design work.
Able to prioritise work with low level support from the Design Manager and senior staff.
Ensuring all design work is efficiently archived.
Up to date knowledge of industry design trends, software, and technologies, with a view to implementation.
A good understanding of production processes, with knowledge of print and paper stock.
Good knowledge of JCDecaux products, Marketing initiatives as well as the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Technical Requirements
Adobe Photoshop.
Adobe After Effects.
Adobe InDesign.
Adobe Illustrator.
Adobe Premiere.
MS PowerPoint.
Good MS Office skills, including Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams.
Good Photography/Videography skills.
Good illustration skills.
Good animation skills
Good HTML/Web design.
Experience
Previous experience in a commercial design role.
Proven experience producing artwork for brands; particularly within advertising.
Good communication skills and experience dealing with clients or agencies.
Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline with a strong portfolio.
