Design Manager

I am working on behalf of a Super Prime Residential Refurbishment Contractor who is looking for an experienced Design Manager to join their team. Projects range from new builds, agricultural conversions and the refurbishment/extensions of existing homes, including listed buildings and country house estates.

They are looking for a talented and ambitious individual who is looking to progress in their career and develop with the business. Pre Construction:

* Obtaining Topographs

* Overlaying levels

* Dealing with TBS service connections

* Dealing with Estate Managers, issuing logistic planes

* Working with Tree offices

* Party wall agreements

* Drainage test and SI

* Working with Archaeologist

* Bat Surveys and other protected species

* Setting up Building Control / Warranty Provider orders

* Closing out outstanding planning conditions

* Obtaining licences (Road closure / skip on road / Demo licences / 278 works)

Construction:

* Drawing / Documentation control and sharing (All via Procore)

* Tech submissions

* Owning CDP items and tracking updates. Ultimately driving contractors’ proposals to completion via AI or deed of variation.

* Overlaying Tender information and Construction issue drawings to cheek no VO’s have been missed.

* Working closely with MEP consultant and helping to track coordinated design.

* Working with the Services coordinator to book in connections

* Working with QS and Interior designer to track through samples and keep register/approvals

* Working with sub-contractor Joinery / Kitchen suppliers to obtain workshop drawings that are coordinated with MEP.

Completion.

* Helping to pull together O&M information.

* Undertaken As-Built drawings for O&M

* Working with SAP assessor to obtain final EPC cert

* Working with Building Control and Warranty provider to obtain final completion certs
